inside the Embryo

RAIN

Comes and goes like the wind blows. It’s still cold! Close your windows but keep your eyes open for the beauty unspoken. Landscapes even Tolkien wouldn’t imagine a Baggins to inhabit.

Seize the moment and grab it like a rabbit out of a hat that you tap and whisper abracadabra like magic.

Do you believe in it?

How can you not when you’re breathing it?

How can you not when it seeps in everything that creeps all around you and speaks the good news of a beautiful morning?

Without warning a tulip blossoms. What would’ve been mistaken for dead like a possum is alive and poppin’ and you can’t help but smile at the sun and say this is pretty fuckin’ awesome.

Drops of water have the power to slow traffic. Don’t drive too fast you’ll get into an accident! Take your time take it easy. Let the cool breeze set your soul at ease and free you from the physical mental and emotional stress that stacks up on your chest like a couple of breasts that need reduction.

Take the time at this juncture in your life to realize this day is a blessing. I profess that I WILL have GRACE like Debra Messing. I confess that I have misplaced my fashion sense of dressing to impress because when the wind hits the skin I feel like scrubbin’ it. Rub-a-dub dubbin’ it. Without a nickel to my name I’m still 50-cent we be clubbin’ it. Go shorty it’s your birthday! Treat everyday like it’s Earth Day and pray for another day of rain when you get thirsty.
